NEW DLEHI : Light birding upon arrival to set the pace for ladhaki adventure.  Places which can be covered are : Sultanpur National Park : Located 37 km from New Delhi or Okhla Bird Park in NOIDA area. The park is home many resident and migratory birds. The park is open to birding from October to June every year. Reaching there takes about 60 – 90 minutes from New Delhi City Centre (depending on the city traffic)

Leh : The Capital city of Union Territory of Ladhak, is the gateway to the wonderland of Ladha. Located beyond the Himalayan Mountain, Leh has some of the stunning landcape and colourful places to see. The people are very nice and friends. Julley is a word is common used to say Hello or greetings. 

Hemis National Park : Hemis National Park is the only place on earth where four mountain ungulates: blue sheep, Tibetan argali, Asiatic ibex and Ladakh urial, occur together. Himalayan weasel, large ear pika, stone martin and Royle’s pikas are some of the small mammals that are frequently seen. Hemis National Park is also rich in avifauna. Look out for Golden Eagle, Bearded Vulture, Fire-fronted Serin, White-winged Redstart, Robin Accentor, Brandt’s Mountain-finch, Common Rose finch, Himalayan Griffon, Himalayan Snow-cock, Chukar partridge, solitary scape, wallcripper, hill pigeon, rock pigeon, yellow bill chough, red bill chough  and Snow Pigeon.

Ulley : is a very good habitat of Snow Leopard, Asiatic Ibex,  Tibetan wolf, red fox, Himalayan marmot, Himalayan weasel, Golden eagle, Himalayan griffon, Lammergeyer, Himalayan snow cock, partridge, yellow billed chough, red billed chough, rose finch, brown dipper, white throat dipper, blue wrestling thrust, white broded tit wobbler,  people also recorded sighted of the Pallas cat in Ulley valley.

Special Note : Due to the nature of this trip and the uncertainty of the path a snow leopard may take on any particular day, the day to day itinerary must remain flexible. The group should move according to the information of the staff and the local community informants gather on the sign of movements of the snow leopard. Weather conditions may also affect the placement of camp and daily movement. The following itinerary remains subject to alteration in the field as information and opportunities become available. The number of trekking days will remain the same, barring weather or other unusual circumstances that require a change.

Day 1 : New Delhi : Arrive in New Delhi and transfer to a hotel. Overnight in a hotel in New Delhi. 
Day 2 : Delhi – Leh : Fly to Leh:  Arrive in Leh, the capital of Ladakh (3500 mts/11,500 ft). Transfer to your hotel. Rest the entire day in hotel for acclimatization. In the evening we will give you briefing about the snow leopard expedition tour. Overnight Hotel
Day 3 : Leh : The Acclimatization day, on this day, if you acclimatize and feel good, we take  world famous Thiksay monastery, and subsequently to bird-watching along the Indus , Shey marshes, around Chuchot bridge, spituk area, choglamsar area look for Ibisbill, Mountain chiffchaff, Hume’s whitethroat, Olive back pipit. Red start, Solitary snipe etc.  In the evening walk to Shanti stupa and/or Leh market. Overnight Hotel
Day 4 : Leh -  Hemis National Park : After breakfast transfer to Hemis National Park will take 45 minutes, and then trek to snow leopard camp will take another 1 hour. While walking toward the camp our guide will show you different birds and mammals, snow leopard sign, snow leopard treks etc. 
Overnight Shan camp.
Day 5 : Hemis National Park : Wildlife viewing: Explore the side-valleys, looking for snow leopard and its prey species like blue sheep and Ladakh Urial.  Return to camp for steaming hot tea and chit-chat. Overnight at Shan camp.
Day 6 : Hemis National Park : Following days Wildlife viewing: Every day hike into the main valley look for the snow leopard and the blue sheep and other small mammals. The staff will bring lunch and hot tea in the field; clients don’t have to come back at the camp for lunch. The itinerary is flexible depending on movement of the snow leopards. Our naturalists guide and the spotter look-out for snow leopard and its prey all the time. The view of stark landscape, and azure-sky pierced by pointed peaks, is spellbinding. Overnight at Shan Camp.
Day 7   : Hemis National Park : Following days Wildlife viewing: Every day hike into the main valley look for the snow leopard and the blue sheep and other small mammals. Overnight at Shan Camp.
Day 8   : Hemis National Park : Following days Wildlife viewing: Every day hike into the main valley look for the snow leopard and the blue sheep and other small mammals. Overnight at Shan Camp.
Day 9   : Hemis National Park : Following days Wildlife viewing: Every day hike into the main valley look for the snow leopard and the blue sheep and other small mammals. Overnight at Shan Camp.
Day 10 : Hemis National Park : Following days Wildlife viewing: Every day hike into the main valley look for the snow leopard and the blue sheep and other small mammals. Overnight at Shan Camp.
Day 11 : Hemis NP to Ulley : Transfer to Ulley will take 3-4 hour. Ulley village is altitude of 4000 mts. On the way chance to see  Tibetan wolf, Ladakh Urial, Asiatic Ibex, snow leopard. The same day at Ulley after settle the home stays, around 3.00 pm hike above one of the view point to search the snow leopard and prey species. Overnight at Homestay in Ulley

Day 16 : Ulley : After lunch drive back to Leh transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Home stay in Ulley
Day 17 : Ulley - New Delhi : Transfer to Leh Airport. Upon arrival in New Delhi, transfer to a hotel.  Overnight in a hotel in New Delhi
Day 18 : New Delhi : Transfer to International Airport. TOUR ENDS
